Our Team

The functions behind every engagement.

We’re a lean team, and we’d rather describe what each function actually does for you than publish stock-photo bios and invented job titles. Here’s who you’re working with, by role — a real look at our PR agency team structure, not a placeholder org chart.

Team Structure

Why we describe roles, not headshots

Plenty of agency “team” pages exist mainly to look bigger than the agency actually is — rows of headshots with generic titles and little else. We’d rather be direct: TrueformPR is a small, focused team, and every engagement is staffed by a specific mix of the functions below, not by whoever happens to be free that week. Knowing what each role actually does — not just their title — is more useful to a prospective client than a photo, so that’s what this page describes.

Founder & CEO

Sets engagement strategy, owns the client relationship, and makes the call on whether a story is genuinely pitchable before we take it to journalists. Also decides, on every engagement, whether earned media, wire distribution, or a combination of both is the honest recommendation — rather than defaulting to whichever is easier to sell.

Head of Media Relations

Builds and maintains the journalist relationships that earned media depends on, and leads pitching across our named outlet list. This is the media relations specialist function: knowing which editors actually cover your category, what angle they respond to, and when a story is genuinely newsworthy versus just convenient for the client.

Wire Distribution Lead

Manages release formatting, wire selection, and scheduling so guaranteed distribution actually publishes on time, every time. Handles the technical side of syndication — choosing the right wire tier, confirming embargo timing, and verifying the release went live where it was promised to.

Content & Copy

Writes and edits press releases, pitches, and bylines so they read like something a journalist — or a wire editor — would actually accept, rather than obvious marketing copy dressed up as news. Every release is edited for AP style and wire-service formatting requirements before it goes out.

Client Strategy

Keeps engagements on schedule, coordinates launch timing across earned pitching and wire distribution, and is the point of contact for day-to-day questions so you’re never chasing multiple people for a status update.

Reporting & Analytics

Tracks placements, reach, and distribution confirmations, and turns them into a plain accounting of what actually happened — not a vanity metrics dashboard designed to make a modest result look bigger than it was.

FAQ

Common questions about our team

How many people work on my engagement?

It varies by scope, but most engagements draw on three to four of the functions above — typically media relations or wire distribution leading, with client strategy, content, and reporting supporting — rather than every function on every project.

Will I have a single point of contact?

Yes — client strategy is your day-to-day contact for status updates and questions, even when media relations or wire distribution specialists are doing the hands-on pitching or scheduling behind the scenes.

Curious who you’d actually be working with?

Get in touch and we’ll walk you through who’s on your engagement.
