PR built on real relationships and honest results.
TrueformPR exists because too much of the PR industry sells guarantees it can’t keep. We built our agency around two products we can actually stand behind: genuine earned media relationships, and press release distribution that’s guaranteed because it’s paid syndication, not a promise about editorial coverage. As a PR agency mission, that’s a narrower promise than most of the industry makes — and we think that’s exactly why it’s worth keeping.
Why we started with two products, not a dozen
Most PR agencies sell a long menu of services — media relations, crisis communications, influencer partnerships, corporate communications, product launch PR — as if each were a distinct discipline requiring a different specialist and a different retainer line. In practice, nearly all of it comes down to two underlying capabilities: earning coverage through real journalist relationships, and getting a release published on a guaranteed schedule through paid syndication. TrueformPR was built around that distinction on purpose. Rather than dressing up one core skill set as six different “services,” we describe what each engagement actually is, so clients know exactly what they’re paying for and what outcome it can honestly promise.
That’s also why we frame ourselves as a media relations expertise and press release distribution company first, and a “full-service PR agency” only in the sense that most client needs genuinely map back to those two products, applied to a specific situation — a funding announcement, a product launch, a reputational issue, a founder profile. We’d rather be precise about what we do well than vague about a dozen things we do adequately.
Two products, chosen honestly
Every engagement starts with a simple question: does this need earned credibility, or a guaranteed publication date? Most clients end up using both. That decision — not a generic retainer — is what determines the shape of your engagement, and it’s usually made on the very first call rather than buried in a proposal later.
We diagnose the goal
Funding announcement, product launch, reputation recovery — the goal decides the mix of earned pitching and guaranteed distribution. We ask what needs to be true after the engagement, not just what to publish.
We pitch, honestly
For earned media, we pitch real journalists at real outlets, with a story angle tailored to their beat instead of a generic mass-blast. We never promise placement, because no agency can control an editor’s decision — that’s media relations expertise applied honestly, not oversold.
We distribute, on schedule
For wire distribution, publication is guaranteed and scheduled — because it’s paid syndication, not a pitch to a journalist. You get a fixed date to build a launch plan around, every time.
We report what actually happened
Every engagement ends with a plain accounting of what ran, where, and what it reached — not inflated metrics dressed up to look bigger than the real result.
A brand credibility partner, not a headline vendor
We think of TrueformPR as a brand credibility partner rather than a vendor of headlines. Earned coverage and guaranteed distribution both exist to do the same underlying job: give your brand, your funding round, or your launch a level of third-party credibility that paid advertising alone can’t manufacture. A journalist writing about your product, or a wire confirming your announcement is live where investors and customers can find it, both signal the same thing — that your news is real and worth paying attention to. That’s the mission behind every engagement we take on, whether it’s a single wire release or an ongoing media relations retainer.
