Description of services
TrueformPR provides two categories of public relations services: earned media services (journalist outreach and pitching, referred to on this site as “Get Featured”), and paid press release wire distribution (referred to as “Wire Distribution”). Additional services described on this site, such as media relations, crisis communication, influencer partnerships, product launch PR, and corporate communications, are delivered through one or both of these two underlying products.
No guarantee of earned media placement
Earned media coverage depends on the independent editorial judgment of third-party journalists and publications, which TrueformPR does not control. TrueformPR does not guarantee that any pitch will result in coverage, placement, or publication. Only our paid Wire Distribution service, which is syndication rather than editorial coverage, carries a guaranteed publication outcome, subject to the terms of that engagement.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, truthful information for use in press releases, pitches, and related materials, and confirm you have the right to share any content or assets provided to us.
Fees and payment
Fees for services are quoted individually based on the scope of your engagement, as described on our Pricing page, and are due according to the terms agreed at the time of engagement. Wire Distribution fees cover a guaranteed, scheduled publication; Get Featured fees cover project-based or retainer earned media effort, not a promised placement outcome. Late payment may result in a pause of active work until the account is brought current.
Term and termination
These terms remain in effect for as long as you use our website or receive services from us. Either party may end an active engagement in accordance with the terms agreed at the time of engagement. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue services for non-payment or for use of our services in a manner that violates these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueformPR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services, including outcomes related to unguaranteed earned media coverage. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold TrueformPR harmless from claims, losses, or damages arising from inaccurate information you’ve provided for use in press releases, pitches, or related materials, or from your breach of these terms.
Intellectual property
Content on this website, excluding client-provided materials, is the property of TrueformPR and may not be reproduced without permission. Materials prepared for a client as part of a paid engagement, such as a final press release, become usable by that client according to the terms agreed at the time of engagement.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform obligations under these terms caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including outages, natural disasters, or actions by third-party wire services or platforms we rely on to deliver distribution.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where TrueformPR operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before pursuing formal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute arising from these terms or an engagement in good faith, directly with the other party.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to reflect its original intent as closely as possible.
Entire agreement
These Terms of Service, together with any written agreement specific to your engagement, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrueformPR regarding your use of our website and services, and supersede any prior understandings on the same subject.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
